Candace Dixon

Candace Dixon, MSN, PMHNP-BC, is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She began her nursing career in a psychiatric intensive care unit caring for individuals with mental illness who were also medically unstable. She then went on to work as a nurse in a trauma/surgical ICU, where she continued to advocate for the mental health and well-being of the patients and families she cared for. Candace received both of her undergraduate degrees from Wichita State University and her Master’s degree from University of Missouri Kansas City. She is passionate about mental health and is excited to be a part of helping those with treatment resistant depression. In addition to providing ketamine/esketamine treatments, Candace also provides medication management at both KMHM and South Central Mental Health Counseling Center for patients with depression, anxiety, OCD, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, ADHD, and more. She is qualified to treat patients of all ages but has a special interest in children and adolescents.
