Tracey Small, MSN, PMHMP-BC is a board certified Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She received her undergraduate degree from St. Mary of the Plains College in Dodge City, KS and her graduate degree from Regis College in Weston, MA. In addition, Tracey holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Newman University, Wichita, KS. After beginning her nursing career and working in many diverse areas of inpatient and outpatient care, Tracey decided to focus on psychiatry and mental health counseling as her career focus. After 7 years of working as a school-based therapist. Tracey decided to refocus her energies on merging her two professions and move into the area of psychiatric assessment and medication management for children, adolescents and adults.
Tracey has a passion for connecting with her patients in order to identify and focus on each person’s individual challenges and to work together to move towards healthy relationships and a healthier life. She provides comprehensive care for patients struggling with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, OCD, PTSD, ADHD and other life-altering mood and mental health disorders through assessment and collaborative medication management. Tracey provides medication management at Sumner Mental Health Center in Wellington, KS. Tracey is glad to be a part of the KMHM team and is grateful for the opportunity to serve within the mental health community.
